SkillsUSA, Assessments and "Skeletons"

Offsite Print[ED] Assessments

Last year, SkillsUSA transitioned to a new Learning Management System (LMS)—My Career Essentials (https://mycareeressentials.org/). The portal is used by schools to purchase and administer Print[ED] assessments. Students will use it to take Print[ED] assessments. The Career Essentials assessments are proctored tests that require a proctor login to unlock assessments on a student’s testing device.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis and requests to take Print[ED] assessments offsite, SkillsUSA is offering to provide a generic proctor login for your school, which can be shared with parents and students for use outside of the classroom for testing. If you are interested in a generic proctor account, please contact a Career Essentials Coach by email at careeressentials@skillsusa.org or by phone at (844) 875-4557.

Print[ED] Shared Google Drive Update

A quick update on the Print[ED] shared Google drive. We want to thank everyone who reached out to join the drive, the enthusiasm is great to see! Unfortunately we’ve encountered a recurring problem with certain types of emails that Google does not want to allow to the drive. If you’ve been added to the drive then you’re good to go, no further action is needed. If you received a reply back from us, we have a couple of options for you. First, if you have an existing Gmail account you can use that specifically for logging into the drive. Second, we can create a Print[ED] specific Gmail account for you to use to access the drive. In either case, you will receive an email replay back with further instructions on both.

Please send us an email if you are interested in joining the shared drive!

Instructions for downloading these skeletons can be found here.
